My entry for Rave!Anime's Studio Gonzo Appreciation contest. I went with a scan from Newtype, but it was a small ad so I ended up vectoring it to make it wallable material. I originally was going to vector in some nice wings, but I couldn't get them to look right so I tried out making some abstract wings instead (which was a hit-or-miss process, although I did end up with a nice jellyfish image along the way). The background is a mishmash of unfinished abstract works because the main one, "Sapphire" was about the right blue and I was just testing it out. I ended up not changing it. Add some sparkles and.. there you go. I'm rather sick of this wall now... Thanks go the BetaBoard watchers for feedback.
